SPECIAL CARE FOR SPECIAL FAMILIES


This program provides the opportunity for families of children with long-term disabilities to have in-home respite.

Ages: Birth to 18 years.

Relief Care is provided days, evenings, overnight and week-ends to meet specific family needs. Minimum of 4 hours, maximum of 8 hours per week.

A VON nurse will visit to conduct an initial home assessment to determine you and your child's individualized needs. The nurse will provide ongoing supervision and support the care being provided.

The family will be carefully matched with a Home Support Worker who will meet your child's specific needs.

Area serviced will include City of Saint John, Rothesay and Quispamsis.

Cost is individually determined.
