The Directive of this division is to provide individuals who require long term care with a day program which enhances personal image and develops competencies in a wide variety of service areas. These services are intended to increase quality of life over time.

SERVICES PROVIDED:
Behaviour Management and Support: Programmatic support provided in a formal or informal manner with necessary documentation maintained. Areas of support include: socialization, emotional. communication, etc.
Group Based Activities: Activities which provide an environment of productivity and challenge. These activities are designed to facilitate the development of personal conduct skills.
Skill Training: Programmatic support provided to teach specific skills to an individual. Training is provided in a formal manner with frequent data collection and graphs. Areas of skill training include operation of equipment.
Natural Learning Environment: The provision of natural supports and valued role models in real settings which facilitate individuals to develop various skills required for successful community living, ie: personal conduct.
Individual Service Planning: A developmental process resulting in a personalized plan of action to identify and prioritize needs. The main element of the process is the completion of a comprehensive Client Profile from which specific goals and objectives are determined.
