We are looking for individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have been diagnosed with Aspergerâs Syndrome or High-Functioning Autism to participate in a research study.
The goal of the study is to investigate cognitive processes related to autobiographical memory retrieval in individuals with and without Aspergerâs Syndrome. Specifically, we are testing the role of planning abilities in the recall of everyday events that people experience.
If you agree to take part in the study, you will be asked to participate in a 3 ¸ hour testing session. You will be asked to complete a background interview in addition to a number of standardized tests and questionnaires that assess your general cognitive functioning, planning abilities, autobiographical memory functioning, and psychological functioning (e.g., depression, anxiety, stress).
Please note that you will not receive any individual results; however we would be pleased to provide you with a summary of the overall results of the study upon completion. You will receive $25.00 for your participation.
